As a founding partner of this civil engineering and land surveying firm, responsible for all technical and financial aspects of site design for land development projects. Projects include site engineering and permitting of commercial and residential site plans, residential subdivisions, condominium site plans, and marine facilities with completed construction costs up to $90,000,000.00. Prepare grading and utility plans, roadway plans and profiles, sewer plans and profiles, construction details and specifications, drainage reports, environmental impact reports, wetland filings. Utilize AutoCad Civil/Survey, Hydrocad drainage, and Microsoft Office software to prepare all plans and drainage reports.

Youngquist, James & Associates, Inc., South Walpole & Middleborough, MA; Office Manager /Civil Engineer, 1996 – 1997
As the South Walpole Office Manager, directed the staff of civil engineering and survey firm engaged in land development projects. Projects included design and permitting of residential site plans, and subdivisions, with completed construction costs of up to $30,000,000.00. Prepared grading and utility plans, roadway plans and profiles, construction details and specifications, drainage reports, environmental impact reports, and wetland filings. CDM Federal Programs Corporation, Boston MA; Environmental Engineer, 1990-1996
Responsibilities included preparation and management of environmental site assessments, feasibility studies, and remedial designs for Superfund hazardous waste projects for federal government agencies. As Project Manager, responsible for budget, schedule and quality control for complex environmental projects, with contract values up to $2.5 million, for RCRA Facility Assessments, Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigations and Feasibility Studies for a number of NPL sites in the New England area. Fieldwork included collection of soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater samples, and management of field personnel and subcontractors.

Atlantic Design Engineers, Inc. Sagamore, MA; Civil Engineer, 1989-1990
Designed commercial and residential subdivisions and site plans ranging in size from single-family septic systems to a 1.5-million-square-foot mall site. Prepared grading and utility plans, roadway plans and profiles, construction specifications, and wetlands filings. Utilized AutoCad/DCA and Hydrocad software in the preparation of all plans and drainage reports. Duties also included management and administration of smaller projects.

New Seabury Corporation, New Seabury MA; Project Engineer, 1987-1989
Designed and permitted septic systems, wetlands projects, commercial sites, and various infrastructure maintenance projects for the owner of a 2,500-acre resort on the south coast of Cape Cod. Coordinated efforts of engineering consultants and construction contractors on a number of projects. Performed construction layout, and scheduled and supervised subcontractors engaged in the installation of underground utilities, roadways and site work for a 43-unit and a 24-unit condominium project. Supervised beach nourishment projects where sand was placed along eroding ocean coastline.

Designed septic systems, grading plans, site layout, drainage calculations, and performed construction cost estimates.

Serving as transmitman, performed property boundary and topographical surveys and construction layout. Reduced field notes and drafted plot plans, site plans, and profiles.
